TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream school in Cardiff that is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within its SRB base. The school provides a supportive environment where pupils with additional learning needs can access appropriate support alongside the wider school community.

The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis, working within the school’s SRB base. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, engagement and individual needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide consistent classroom support.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs
• Experience working within a school, SRB or similar educational setting
• A patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and adaptable attitude
