Allocations Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Allocations Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.

In this role, you will assess housing applications, determine eligibility and housing need, and allocate social housing.

Duties:

• Assess housing applications and determine eligibility and housing need.
• Manage housing allocations and make fair, lawful decisions.
• Conduct home visits to verify applicants'' circumstances and eligibility.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with internal teams and external agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience assessing housing applications and customer needs.
• Experience working with vulnerable and challenging customers.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and using databases.
• Experience working with internal teams and external agencies.

What''s on offer:

Salary: -25ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
