Allocations Officer

Your new company We are currently working with a respected Housing Association in Glasgow to recruit an Allocations Officer on a temporary basis for a period of 3-6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with experience in allocations, housing applications and tenancy management to join a busy and customer-focused team.Your new role Manage housing applications from initial enquiry through to allocation and tenancy commencement.Assess housing applications and ensure they are processed accurately in line with the organisation''s Allocations Policy.Maintain and update housing waiting lists and applicant records.Verify application information and supporting documentation.Match applicants to suitable properties and make offers in accordance with housing policy and procedures.Conduct applicant interviews and provide advice on housing options and rehousing opportunities.Liaise with housing management, tenancy sustainment and repairs teams to ensure properties are ready for let.Minimise void turnaround times by supporting the efficient allocation of available properties.Respond to enquiries from applicants, tenants and partner organisations, providing excellent customer service at all times.Work closely with Local Authorities, support agencies and external partners to meet housing needs within the community.Maintain accurate records and produce reports relating to allocations, lettings and waiting list activity.Ensure all work is carried out in ..... full job details .....
