You will be responsible for the efficient allocation of council and partner housing, ensuring applications, shortlisting and offers are handled accurately and in accordance with relevant housing allocation policies and procedures.This is a varied role requiring strong housing allocations knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to undertake thorough verification and investigation of housing applications.What You Will Do as an Allocations and Verifications Officer Deliver a responsive and customer-focused housing allocation service to residents applying for social housing and housing transfers. Advertise available properties, shortlist prospective tenants by matching housing need and qualification criteria through choice-based lettings, and make direct offers where appropriate. Undertake detailed verification and investigation of housing applications, including home visits where necessary, ensuring applications are assessed accurately against the relevant allocation scheme, policies and procedures.
