Allocation and Logistics Manager

Job Title: Allocations and Logistics Manager Reporting to: Senior Allocations and Logistics Manager Salary Range: £35,000 - £38,000 Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed-term contract Location: Hybrid working - London or Sheffield(depending on your location) Hours/Days per week: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Purpose of the Job This important role is pivotal to ensuring that Felix accepts and distributes all offers surplus food to support our Regional Centres across the UK. This role is essential in helping our Regional Centres support the charities and communities they serve, whilst also ensuring that Felix provides a fast, professional and reliable service to food industry partners. You will manage the team responsible for managing the supply of food, liaising with the food industry and the Felix Network. You will also work with our Network team and Food Commercial Managers to maximise the volumes of food we redistribute. Working alongside the Transport and Logistics Manager, you will manage the logistics and ensure efficient allocation of food and cost-effective distribution to the Felix Regional Centres. You will work to identify and develop new and innovative approaches to our systems and processes to support the ambitious volume growth plans we have for the Felix Network.
