Join our expanding Alliance Data Protection Team as one of three new Alliance Data Protection Advisors, supporting Devon and Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. This role supports the Alliance Data Protection and Information Sharing Manager in helping both Forces comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys researching information, making sound decisions and providing high-quality customer service. You will play a key role in coordinating and processing Subject Access Requests (SARs) from receipt through to completion, ensuring responses are accurate, compliant and issued within statutory timescales. You will undertake research across multiple systems, work closely with departments across both Forces to gather and verify information, and provide advice to internal and external customers on data protection matters.
