Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated, multi-sensory lessons tailored to pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Use formative assessment and targeted interventions to support academic and personal development
- Contribute to whole-school strategies for inclusion, staff development, and best practices in SEN
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS and have experience working with primary-aged children with additional learning needs (desirable but not essential)
- Be empathetic, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Be confident using assistive technology and visual supports
- Be enthusiastic about ongoing professional development and collaborative learning
