Our specialist aviation team is based in London, UK and Madrid, Spain and delivers major airport planning and development projects globally. We are seeking an Airport Planner with a relevant qualification and professional aviation industry experience to join our aviation team in the UK. You will be part of a globally respected and diverse team of airport planners, airfield engineers, and forecast, capacity and business analysts. We are looking for a flexible and motivated person with a genuine passion for the aviation industry and a commitment to sustainability.Key Responsibilities And Duties

Be responsible for delivery on a variety of projects including airport masterplans, airport facility planning, capacity and demand analysis and simulation modellingDeliver airport planning and capacity tasks across airfield and apron, terminals and satellite buildings, landside transport, and supporting facilitiesLearn the responsibilities of a Project Manager on small projects and/or as a workstream lead involving airport planning activitiesDevelop new technical, project management and people management skills from experienced project principals and technical principalsShare knowledge with new graduates by training them on tasks and workstreams you manageEngage with clients and key project stakeholdersAssist in the production and submission of proposals, supporting Bid Managers/DirectorsCollaborate with other aviation disciplines, including airfield engineering, forecasting, and business planningCandidate specification

We are looking for a flexible and motivated professional with experience and a genuine passion for the aviation industry.To Apply For This Position, You Must Have

A degree in aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, air transport management, or airport planning. Other relevant qualifications may be consideredFluency in English; knowledge of other languages is valuedRelevant experience in the aviation industry, preferably working towards a chartership or equivalent transferable skillsSome previous aviation experience in technical fields within airport planning (airfield and apron, operations, terminal, landside, utilities, airspace, etc.)We Are Looking For Candidates With The Following Characteristics
