The RoleAs an Aircraft Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker, you''ll play a vital role in the fabrication, assembly, and structural fitting of high-precision aerospace components.Key responsibilities include: Interpreting and working from detailed aerospace engineering drawings and specifications.Assembling airframe and structural components to tight tolerances.Profiling, shaping, and forming sheet metal parts using manual and semi-automated techniques.Operating tools and equipment such as rubber presses, hand-forming tools, and other fabrication machinery.Performing processes such as drilling, countersinking, riveting, sealant application, and fitting helicoils, bearings, and bushes.Working collaboratively to ensure production deadlines and stringent quality standards are consistently met.
