Airfares Ticketing Manager
We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Ticketing Manager from a Tour Operator background to join an established, successful Travel Company. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the Fares and Ticketing department, ensuring the team complete all processes and tasks within the deadlines required. You will be GDS (ideally Amadeus and Galileo) expert with experience of managing a small team. Starting salary is up to dependent on experience. Hours of work are between Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm (some out of hours cover). Office based role in Birmingham, Peterborough of London.JOB DESCRIPTION Oversee the day-to-day operation of the ticketing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and service standards are maintained. Manage all ticketing queues, including schedule changes, web, native, general, and re-issues, ensuring tickets are issued within deadlines. Monitor automated ticketing processes and resolve ticket match failures to maintain workflow accuracy. Manage schedule changes, advising agents and customers, actioning amendments, and updating back-office systems accordingly. Coordinate booking amendments arising from airline schedule changes, including flights, hotels, and transfers where required. Monitor fare, fuel, and tax increases, ensuring agents and clients are informed and deadlines met.
