Aircraft Maintenance Fitter

As an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs and Modifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipmentCan accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation.Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the company''s MOE and supporting manualsIdentifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditionsMaintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a "clean as you go" approachComplying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting proceduresComplying with the AAG DS safety policyComplete aircraft paperwork to a high standardAn awareness of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safety requirementsActively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) cultureCandidate RequirementsMust currently have eligibility to live and work in the UK, unfortunately sponsorship cannot currently be offered.Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academic qualification/traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experience or be able to satisfy the Training / Maintenance management team.Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificateKnowledge of aeronautical regulations Must have the right to live and work ..... full job details .....
