We are working alongside the world''s largest aircraft manufacturer, who are looking for both Skilled and Semi-Skilled Aircraft Fitters to join the team at their renowned site in Filton. You''ll be joining the team within the Build Production section to work on various aircrafts.Role: Skilled / Semi-Skilled Fitters Pay: from 25.62- 28.82 DOE per hour via Umbrella Contract: Mon-Thurs 6.30am-3.45pm, 12 months contract Location: Filton - Fully onsite IR35: Inside SC Clearance: BPSSResponsibilities:Work from engineering instructions and understand Aircraft DrawingsComplete tasks to the required standardsGeneral tasks include the use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing1st party certification will be required following successful completion of the relevant coursesYou may need to work in a confined space (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes Requirements:Aerospace or Engineering Full ApprenticeshipIndenture and City and Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City and Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering fieldSelf-motivation with good communication skillsAn ability to work alone or as part of a teamAn openness to continuous improvement processes and new ways of workingKnowledge and a high regard for Health and Safety standards If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please ..... full job details .....
