Aircraft Fitter - Skilled and Semi-Skilled12 month contractBased in FiltonOffering between 25.62- 28.87ph Inside IR35 DOEShifts are 6:30am-3:45pm Monday to Thursday Do you have experience using hand tools in previous roles such as a fitter/assembler?Do you hold an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (NVQ L3, etc.)?Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? As the Aircraft Fitter, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:Work from engineering instructions and understand Aircraft DrawingsComplete tasks to the required standardsGeneral tasks include the use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing1st party certification will be required following successful completion of the relevant coursesYou may need to work in a confined space (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes Your skillset may include:Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship (for Skilled)Indenture and City and Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City and Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field (for Skilled)An ..... full job details .....
