Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an Air Source Heat Pump Installer to join a growing Renewable Energy team delivering low-carbon heating solutions across Cornwall.

This is a permanent, full-time position installing Air Source Heat Pumps and associated renewable heating systems within occupied residential properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and handover of Air Source Heat Pump systems, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. 
 

Key Responsibilities for the Air Source Heat Pump Installer:

• Installing Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties
• Completing heating system upgrades and associated plumbing works
• Installing hot water cylinders, pipework, radiators and ancillary equipment
• Carrying out system commissioning, testing and customer handovers
• Working from technical drawings, specifications and installation designs
• Maintaining accurate job records and installation documents.

Requirements for the Air Source Heat Pump Installer role: 

• Previous experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps or renewable heating systems
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent qualification
• Experience working within occupied residential properties
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable experience:

• MCS installation experience
• Unvented Hot Water Qualification (G3)
• F-Gas Certification
• Experience working on social housing or retrofit projects
• Knowledge of PAS 2030/PAS 2035 requirements
• Renewable energy installation experience including Solar PV or Battery Storage
• CSCS Card
