The Opportunity This is a varied operational role managing Air Import shipments from start to finish, whilst also gaining exposure to Ocean Freight and other areas of the business. 

If you''re someone who enjoys learning, taking ownership, and becoming a valued member of a team rather than being confined to one desk or one mode, this could be the ideal opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Air Import shipments from origin through to final delivery
• Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and transport providers
• Handling import documentation and customs procedures
• Providing proactive shipment updates and excellent customer service
• Supporting colleagues and covering operational duties during annual leave and absences
• Learning and assisting with Ocean Freight operations
• Working closely with the wider operations team to ensure smooth shipment flow
• Maintaining accurate operational records and ensuring timely invoicing

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience within Air Freight Imports (from 1 year upwards)
• Good understanding of freight forwarding processes
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Desire to learn additional freight modes, particularly Ocean Freight
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments
