Air Imports CoordinatorLocation: Heathrow, LondonSalary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Air Imports Coordinator to join a leading international freight forwarding and logistics organisation based in Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and dynamic air freight environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end air import process from shipment arrival through to final delivery.Liaise with overseas agents, airlines, customers, customs authorities, and transport providers.Ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.Coordinate customs clearance activities and resolve any shipment issues promptly.Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers.Arrange deliveries and ensure service levels are consistently achieved.Accurately enter shipment data into internal systems and maintain records.Handle invoicing, cost control, and file profitability where required.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and operational partners.RequirementsPrevious experience within Air Imports Freight Forwarding is essential.Good understanding of customs procedures and import documentation.Experience working with airline and freight forwarding systems.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.Excellent communication and customer ..... full job details .....
