Right Now Group are recruiting for an Import Clerk to join a leading freight forwarder based in Heathrow (LHR - Polar Park).This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Import Clerk who is confident in handling Air Imports and capable of training and developing others as the company looks to bring their import function fully in-house.Key Responsibilities - Air Import ClerkManage and complete import files to required company standardsMonitor and action import-related emails in a timely mannerHandle import entries and ensure regulatory complianceIssue import quotations and take bookings directly with customersProduce collection and delivery notesLiaise daily with customers, warehouses, and customs officials to ensure smooth operationsManage ERTS (Enhanced Remote Transit Shed) processesCheck, calculate, and charge storage costs accuratelyOversee charging and costing of import jobsProvide support, guidance, and training to colleagues on import processesKey Requirements - Air Import ClerkMinimum 2-3 years'' Air Import experience (essential)Ability to handle quotations, bookings, and full import processes independentlyKnowledge of Sequoia and NCTS systems desirableBreak-bulk experience advantageousStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressureProactive, self-motivated, and capable of mentoring othersWhat''s On Offer - Air Import ClerkSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)Shift: Monday - ..... full job details .....
