Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable freight forwarding business for an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join their Bradford-based operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled air freight professional to take ownership of shipments end-to-end within a supportive and well-structured environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing air freight import and/or export shipments from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling air freight shipments (import/export) end-to-end
• Providing quotations to clients
• Arranging collections and deliveries with agents and carriers
• Preparing and processing all relevant shipping documentation
• Managing import/export customs clearance procedures
• Costing shipments and raising invoices
• Maintaining accurate operational records

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years'' experience with a UK-based freight forwarder
• Strong knowledge of air freight import and/or export operations
• Experience with customs procedures
• Familiarity with CargoWise is highly desirable
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments independently
