Air Freight Operator Location: Heathrow AreaSalary: Up to 38,000 DOEI''m currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a highly respected specialist freight forwarder, for an experienced Air Freight Operator to join their growing operations team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid freight forwarding background who enjoys working in a fast-paced, time-critical environment and can confidently manage export shipments from start to finish.The role is heavily focused on Exports, with shipments moving primarily via Air Freight and a smaller amount via Road Freight.Package and Benefits:Salary up to 38,000 depending on experienceFlexible working hours: 08:00 or 09:00 starting time28 days holidayPension schemeSupportive and specialist freight forwarding environmentExposure to complex, high-value, and time-sensitive shipmentsKey Responsibilities:Handling export air freight shipments from booking through to deliveryPreparing and cutting Air Waybills (AWBs)Liaising with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customersManaging time-critical and express shipmentsEnsuring all freight documentation is accurate and compliantCoordinating occasional road freight movementsProviding high levels of customer service in a specialist logistics environmentRequirements:Minimum 2+ years'' experience in Air Freight OperationsStrong export operations knowledgeExperience cutting Air Waybills is essentialAbility to work efficiently under pressure with urgent shipmentsExcellent ..... full job details .....
