Air Freight Operations Coordinator Location: Egham Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting for an Export Operations Clerk for an independent freight forwarder who specialises in air freight, focused on delivering reliable and efficient logistics solutions. The Role The Air Freight Operations Coordinator will manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands air freight operations in depth and takes full ownership of their work. Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end coordination of air freight export shipmentsBooking freight with airlines and overseas agentsPreparing and checking air freight documentation, including:HAWB / MAWBCommercial invoicesPacking listsDangerous Goods (where applicable)Liaising with customers, airlines, handling agents, and overseas partnersMonitoring flight schedules and proactively managing delays or disruptionsEnsuring accurate job costing and file completionSupporting urgent and time-critical shipments when requiredRequirementsProven experience in air freight operations within a freight forwarding environmentStrong knowledge of air export processesHighly organised with strong attention to detailReliable and able to take ownership of tasksConfident communicator with both customers and suppliersAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesDesirable Skills and ExperienceExperience with e-Customs systemsFamiliarity with cargo forwarder / freight management ..... full job details .....
