Air Freight Manager

Working with a fantastic business in Liverpool, we are recruiting for a Freight Manager. The primary focus will be Air Freight, But knowledge of Ocean and Road is needed, along with Customs and Sales expereince. So an "all-rounder" would be perfect. This position would suit either an established manager or a Junior Manager looking to take a step up. Managing a small team, you will have: Demonstrable exposure to Air and Sea freight within a freight forwarding environment. Strong operational knowledge of freight suppliers, hauliers, and forwarding networks, with a sales background. Sound Customs knowledge. Commercial awareness with the ability to balance Customer Service and profitability. Excellent negotiation skills along with industry contacts. Hands-on leadership style with the ability to step into operational detail when required. Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused. Clear communicator, able to explain operational and commercial decisions effectively. Ambitious, accountable and motivated to grow with the business. ..... full job details .....
