Air Freight Manager

Working with a fantastic business in Liverpool, we are recruiting for a Freight Manager.-

The primary focus will be Air Freight, But knowledge of Ocean and Road is needed, along with Customs and Sales expereince. So an "all-rounder" would be perfect.-

This position would suit either an established manager or a Junior Manager looking to take a step up.-

Managing a small team, you will have:

• Demonstrable exposure to Air and Sea-freight within a freight forwarding environment.

• Strong operational knowledge of freight suppliers, hauliers, and forwarding networks, with a sales background.

• Sound Customs knowledge.-

• Commercial awareness-with the ability to balance Customer Service-and profitability.

• Excellent negotiation skills along with industry contacts.

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to step into operational detail when required.

• Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.

• Clear communicator, able to explain operational and commercial decisions effectively.

• Ambitious, accountable and motivated to grow with the business.
