This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their career within air freight forwarding, joining a supportive operations team where training and long-term progression are available.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end air export shipments, ensuring all documentation, customs requirements, and customer expectations are met while maintaining the highest levels of service.Position: Air Export OperatorLocation: ManchesterHours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities for an Air Export OperatorCoordinate end-to-end Air Export shipments from booking through to departure.Prepare and process export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.Complete and submit export customs entries, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.Liaise with airlines, handling agents, overseas offices, hauliers, and customers to ensure the smooth movement of freight.Arrange collections, consolidations, and final dispatch of export shipments.Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers, resolving any operational issues promptly.Maintain accurate job files and operational records using freight forwarding systems.Ensure all export ..... full job details .....
