Air Conditoning Engineer

A leading building services provider is looking for an HVAC Engineer to join their maintenance team on a prestigious contract looking after commercial buildings in the M4 and M5 Corridor region.Working as an AC engineer you''ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of the landlord plant, ensuring the site''s HVAC and mechanical systems operate efficiently.The Role:Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive MaintenanceServicing and fault-finding on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, boilers, and ventilation systemsWater treatment tasks, including dosing, temperature checks, and cooling tower maintenanceMonitoring and operating the BMS to optimise building performanceWorking on pressurisation units, chilled water systems, and AC unitsSupporting critical HVAC systems in temperature-sensitive scientific research labsEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations and building standardsAssisting with refurbishment and upgrade projects to improve system efficiencyRequirements:Recognised mechanical or HVAC qualification (Heating and Ventilation preferred)City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical EngineeringExperience in a building services maintenance environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsGood communication skillsPackage and Benefits:Up to £55,000 per annumMon - Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm1 Hour travel paid - Work 8 hours and get paid for 10 (Up to extra £5k per year!)23 days holiday + bank holidaysPension schemeOvertime and training ..... full job details .....
