Air Conditioning Service Engineer

A specialist commercial air conditioning business is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its field-based service and maintenance team aroundBasingstoke. The role covers both planned and reactive maintenance, working predominantly within a 20-mile radius ofBasingstoke, with engineers expected to work independently across commercial air conditioning equipment. You will be responsible for servicing, fault finding and maintaining systems including complex VRV/VRF equipment, alongside participating in an established 1-in-6 call-out rota.RequirementsMinimum 2 years'' field experience working independently on commercial air conditioning systemsStrong experience with VRV/VRF systems, including service, maintenance and fault findingCurrent F-Gas CertificationMinimum Level 2 NVQ Diploma / City and Guilds 6187 or equivalent air conditioning/refrigeration qualificationFull, clean UK driving licenceBased within reasonable travelling distance of BasingstokeStrong customer communication and commercial awarenessPASMA and IPAF advantageous but not essentialPackageSalary: Up to 47,000 per annum, depending on experienceFull-time, permanent positionMinimum 40-hour working week1-in-6 on-call rotaOut-of-hours breakdowns paid at a minimum four hoursOvertime rates of 1.5x, 2x or 2.5x, depending on when the work is carried outOut-of-hours travel paid door-to-doorInterested in hearing more?
