Air Conditioning Service Engineer

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work with a well-established business that values quality, professionalism, and career development.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems across existing and future maintenance contracts. Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs.

The role involves working independently as well as collaboratively with a wider engineering team to deliver a high standard of service to clients.

Experience & Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with:

• VRF systems
• Split systems
• Chillers
• Refrigeration equipment
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)

Applicants should also possess:

• A minimum of 3 years'' experience as an Air Conditioning Service Engineer
• At least 1 year''s maintenance engineering experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Basic knowledge of electrical testing and diagnosis of mains power and control circuits (preferred)
• A full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of one year)

Essential Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card
• F-Gas Certification
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Proven industry experience

Desirable Qualifications

• IPAF
• PASMA
• NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
