Air Conditioning Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced-Air Conditioning Manager-to oversee the delivery, performance and technical management of air conditioning and HVAC services across a key client contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC/AC professional who is confident managing engineers, subcontractors, client relationships and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of air conditioning and HVAC services across the contract.
• Lead and manage a team of AC/HVAC engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and remedial works.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
• Manage statutory compliance, technical standards and relevant legislation.
• Monitor CAFM systems, ensuring maintenance records and job updates are accurate and up to date.
• Manage subcontractors, including performance, quality, RAMS and compliance.
• Act as the key technical point of contact for the client.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on service performance.
• Manage budgets, quotations and additional works where required.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure engineers have the appropriate training, qualifications and certification.
• Support with technical projects, installations and lifecycle works.

About You

• Previous experience in an-Air Conditioning Manager, HVAC Manager, AC Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Relevant AC/HVAC qualifications and F-Gas certification.
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong organisational and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy FM environment.

Desirable

• Experience within a commercial facilities management environment.
• Experience working on large corporate or critical environments.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge.
• IOSH/NEBOSH or similar health & safety qualification.
• Experience managing a team and client account.
• Full UK driving licence.
