Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Operative / Air-con Installation Engineer to join our team on a commercial fit-out project. The site has been fully stripped out, and the role will involve the installation of air conditioning systems, including working with a dated VRV system with 14 variables.

Location: Hitchin, SG5 1BH 

Pay: £175-£190 per day, CIS,  DOE

Start Date: Monday 27th April , 8am-5pm 

Duration: 6 weeks, potentially longer

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of air conditioning systems on a commercial fit-out project
• Working with existing VRV systems and adapting to project requirements
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Coordinating with site teams to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (or equivalent)
• Valid CSCS Card
• F-Gas certification (preferred)
• Proven experience in commercial HVAC installations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
