Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team operating in and around Reading. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of VRF and split air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites.
Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
• Working with VRF/VRV systems and split/multi-split systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations
• Completing job reports and documentation accurately
• Providing excellent customer service on-site

• FGas Certification (Category 1) - mandatory
• IPAF (Powered Access Licence) - required
• CSCS Card (valid)
• Eligible to work under CIS scheme

• Proven experience working on VRF/VRV systems
• Strong background with split and multi-split systems
• Experience in commercial environments preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer-facing ability
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu)
• Additional HVAC qualifications
