My client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal applicant will have experience in equipment repair & maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency of all air conditioning units.

Duties

• Service and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
• Troubleshoot issues and diagnose faults accurately and independently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations, including the handling of refrigerants.
• Assist in the planning and execution of projects involving HVAC systems
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
• Experience in equipment repair within a variety of environments is necessary.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards related to HVAC work environments
• FGAS certification required, with an interest in developing skills as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
