Location: London & Greater London
Salary: -40,000 - -50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview

We are representing our client, a well-established and respected building services provider, who is looking to appoint an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support their growing operations across London. This is a long-term role offering stability, consistent workload, and excellent earning potential for a skilled engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installation works on a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems

• Attending reactive breakdowns and carrying out effective fault diagnosis and repair

• Working on systems including:

  • Split systems

  • Multi-split systems

  • VRV / VRF systems

• Identifying electrical and mechanical faults and implementing permanent solutions

• Carrying out basic installation, upgrades, and component replacements where required

• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with:

  • F-Gas regulations

  • Company procedures

• Completing service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation accurately and on time

• Communicating clearly with site contacts and management

• Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer

• F-Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory)

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability

• Experience working in commercial environments

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
