Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer required, for our client, a HVAC services provider based in Berkshire, who operate within a 65 mile radius of the office. They have been established for over 20 years carrying out installation and project works and are now looking to establish a successful servicing and maintenance department. The Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for reactive and planned service and maintenance across commercial sites, typically in London and along the M4 corridor. The engineers will be working on commercial sites such as offices, labs, schools and banks etc.

Air Conditioning Service Engineer Remuneration Position

• Basic salary - -40,000 to -45,000 depending on experience
• Working hours 8am - 5pm
• Door to door travel pay
• Currently no on call rota (although it is likely one will be in place in the next 12 months)
• Company van
• Company tablet / phone
• Some overtime available
• 28 days annual leave

The Air Conditioning engineer will be performing service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding tasks on & Air Conditioning equipment such as VRV''s, VRF''s Splits and Multi-splits.

It is expected that the Air Conditioning Engineer will have proven experience within the HVAC industry and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.

Air Conditioning Service Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience carrying out servicing and repair works on Air Conditioning equipment
• Live within commutable distance of the M4
• F-gas certification
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning
• Full driving licence
