Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: London, Kent, Hampshire & Sussex (Mobile Role)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Salary: Competitive DOE + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Air Conditioning & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a newly established division within the business, offering genuine long-term career progression as the department expands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and air conditioning installations across a-portfolio of commercial-sites throughout London, Kent, Hampshire, and Sussex.
The role will involve a significant amount of lone working, although certain projects and installations may be completed alongside another engineer as part of a two person team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systems.
- Attend reactive maintenance and breakdown call-outs.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Undertake air conditioning installations and small project works.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst on-site.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- Valid F-Gas Certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Desirable
- Experience within either a commercial or domestic environment.
- Experience carrying out both maintenance and installation works.
- Additional HVAC qualifications would be advantageous.
Working Hours & Call-Outs
- Standard 40-hour working week.
- Call-out work will be required.
