1st Step Solutions are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer in the Hampshire area on behalf of an established Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Heating Contractor. Due to expansion within the business, this role will be mainly working on domestic projects, but will require some working within the commercial-arm of the business when required.-

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out planned and reactive service, maintenance, installation, and repair on-domestic projects
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across a wide range of equipment
• Work on systems including water chillers, air-cooled and water-cooled systems, cold rooms, and commercial refrigeration plan
• Complete detailed fault-finding, performance analysis, and system optimisation
• Carry out refrigerant handling, leak detection, and F-Gas compliance tasks
• Attend breakdowns and deliver effective repair solutions independently
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior engineers where required
• Complete accurate service reports, worksheets, and compliance documentation
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations
• Domestic work will be based locally to GU46, whereas commercial work aims to service clients within a 150-mile radius

Skills and Experience Required:

• An industry relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• F-Gas Certification
• Full UK Driving License
