Shift Pattern: Days or Nights available-
Rate: Up to -330 per shift, dependent on experience and shift pattern & Van, Fuel card provided.
We are seeking an experienced Air conditioning engineer to work across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout London.
The role will focus primarily on the maintenance and repair of Airedale HVAC and air-conditioning units, requiring strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. The successful engineer must be comfortable working independently, responding to faults and completing repairs to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on Airedale HVAC units.
- Identify mechanical, electrical and refrigeration-related faults.
- Complete repairs and replace defective components.
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance.
- Test systems following repairs to confirm safe and effective operation.
- Record completed works, faults identified and parts used.
- Travel between commercial sites across London.
Essential Requirements
- Valid F-Gas certification as a minimum.
- Proven experience working as an HVAC or air-conditioning engineer.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair experience.
- Experience working on Airedale units or similar commercial HVAC equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work either day or night shifts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site requirements.
Desirable Experience
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Experience working in commercial or critical environments.
- Knowledge of electrical controls and HVAC control systems.
