Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business covering Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This is an ideal role for an engineer with a strong background in air conditioning service and maintenance, who also has some chiller experience. In return, you''ll join a supportive team with genuine opportunities to progress into Technical Support, Service Management or Project Management.

The Role

You''ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial air conditioning systems. The role will involve working on VRV/VRF, Split and Close Control (CRAC) systems, while also supporting the maintenance and on-call cover of commercial chillers.

Working across a variety of commercial sites, you''ll ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently, complete all service documentation using a mobile management system and maintain high standards of customer service and health & safety compliance.

What We''re Looking For

We''re looking for engineers with proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems, ideally including experience with:

• VRV/VRF and Split Systems
• Commercial Chillers (service or maintenance experience)
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba and Sanyo
• Close Control (CRAC) systems (desirable)

Salary & Benefits

• -40,000 - -55,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• Paid travel after the first 30 minutes each way
• Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sundays & Bank Holidays
• 1 in 9 call-out rota
• Quarterly bonus scheme based on performance, attendance and company processes
• 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays (+ Birthday off)
• 15 days paid sick leave (following successful probation)
