AI/ML EngineerLocation: Hampshire/Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite Salary: £60,000 per annum + benefitsAre you an experienced AI/ML Engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical problems and turning research into practical solutions?We''re looking for a hands-on AI/ML professional to join a highly technical engineering team working on challenging projects across Defence, National Security and other technically complex environments.This is an opportunity to work across areas including LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision and Reinforcement Learning, depending on your experience.What you''ll be doingResearching and evaluating state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques.Adapting academic research and existing algorithms to solve real-world problems.Designing, developing and testing AI/ML solutions.Building hands-on AI/ML software, primarily using Python.Experimenting with different approaches and evaluating results.Working on both early-stage Randamp;D projects and larger engineering programmes.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.Supporting technical solution design, customer engagements and bids.What we''re looking forStrong hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, Randamp;D or applied research.Experience applying AI/ML techniques to complex problems.Experience researching, adapting and applying algorithms or academic research.Strong Python and software engineering skills.Experience working in agile engineering teams.A genuine interest in experimenting with new ..... full job details .....
