AI Transformation Director

On behalf of Department Business and Trade, we are looking for a AI Transformation Director (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based Hybrid in London. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing andamp; eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. As a AI Transformation Director, your main responsibilities will be:. Define and lead a clear, ambitious transformation strategy aligned to departmental priorities and cross-government reform.. Bring together major programmes (AI Transformation, High Performing Department, Matrix/FESSP, Efficiencies, Corporate Services Continuous Improvement) into a coherent portfolio with clear priorities and oversee delivery .. Ensure strong programme grip with clear governance, sequencing, and dependency management.. Drive measurable impact, ensuring all transformation activity delivers quantifiable benefits.. Work closely with DG groups and core teams including Strategy, DDaT and HR to shape and deliver transformation collectively..
