The OpportunityAs a Software Engineer within our AI team at Bright, you will play a crucial role in integrating innovative AI tools and features across our suite of products. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional software development and cutting-edge AI technology. You will primarily focus on front-end development to create intuitive interfaces for our AI-powered features, while also building back-end services to support these as needed. This role requires versatility in working with both JavaScript and C# to deliver seamless AI experiences to our users.
Responsibilities
Design and develop user-friendly front-end interfaces for AI features and tools using modern JavaScript frameworks or C# and Blazor
Integrate AI capabilities into existing Bright products, ensuring smooth user experiences and optimal performance
Build simple back-end services to support AI feature integration when required
Collaborate closely with the AI and product teams to understand technical and product requirements to build compelling AI first features and products
Create responsive, intuitive UI components that make complex AI functionality accessible to end users
Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate testing and documentation
Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development best practices
Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and AI/ML integration patterns
Configure builds and automated tests to execute reliably in CI/CD environments
Qualifications
Strong experience in front-end development
Demonstrated expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
Experience with C# .NET web applications
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
Experience with Blazor or Razor is desirable but not required
Ability to build RESTful APIs
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Self-driven with a genuine interest in AI/ML technologies and their application
Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
