They’re looking for someone who can set the technical direction for a new software stack that will power real-time, safety-critical AI applications in next-generation vehicles.
What you’ll do

Define the technical strategy for deploying hardware-accelerated neural networks into safety-critical automotive applications.

Work with global teams of engineers and architects to design, optimise, and deliver scalable software solutions.

Build tooling to train, validate, and deploy neural networks on advanced accelerators.

Shape runtime environments to meet real-time and functional safety requirements.

Guide and mentor engineering teams, influencing design decisions without heavy hierarchy.

Support safety analysis and certification processes.

Help commercial teams assess costs, priorities, and delivery timelines.
What we’re looking for
-
Experience building software for safety-critical applications, with knowledge of standards like ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or similar.

Background in GPU, NPU, or accelerator driver development, especially in memory management and execution synchronisation.

Strong C/C++ skills and experience with embedded platforms (e.g., INTEGRITY, QNX, or VxWorks).

A solid foundation in computer system fundamentals and a strong eagerness to learn.

Experience in requirements analysis, architecture definition, and documentation.
