The role involves designing AI-powered search and retrieval capabilities across documents, emails, contracts and risk artefacts, while mentoring a junior engineer. Responsibilities - Develop MCP servers exposing SharePoint and Azure AI Search capabilities to AI agents. - Build SharePoint and Microsoft Graph ingestion pipelines for documents, emails and attachments. - Design and implement RAG and agentic AI workflows using Azure OpenAI. - Deliver hybrid search solutions combining semantic and vector retrieval. - Implement secure, permission-aware access controls using Entra ID and OAuth. - Produce production-ready solutions including testing, CI/CD, logging and documentation. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a junior engineer.
