AI Native Systems Engineer 6 Month Contract London (Hybrid) £500/day (Outside IR35) AI Native Systems Engineer needed for a 6 Month Rolling Contract based in London (Hybrid). Start ASAP ideally September 2026. Hybrid Working 2-3 days/week remote (WFH) + 2-3 days/week working from the office in London. Paying up to £500/day (Outside IR35). Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting the client''s transition towards delivery models utilising AI agents to streamline systems software + operations: AI Native Systems Engineer is a technical leadership role designing AI-enabled, complex cloud-native + data-intensive systems that support Network Operations across RAN, data + automation domains. Owning the system engineering discipline, translating business problems into robust technical designs + ensuring AI-assisted delivery remains governed, secure + outcome-focused. Owning complex technical designs from early problem framing through to release + operational support. A ''hands-on'' role responsible for technical outcomes from concept to production. Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools + coding agents to improve software delivery, testing + documentation. Experience of AI-assisted engineering tools and how to validate, govern and improve AI-generated engineering artefacts. Experience in designing complex software systems, distributed systems, data platforms + cloud-native services.
