Data and AI Governance Specialist Large, complex and multi sector - Energy/Water, Telecoms, etc. Purview administration experience needed plus: - Understanding of governance frameworks, controls and policies - Experience producing reports, metrics and governance documentation - Experience working with data catalogues, metadata or data quality processes Support the day-to-day operation of Data and AI Governance capability.Based in Stevenage - but home working tooInside IR35 - paid via an umbrellaStart 28th of September - initial six-month contract You will work closely with the Data and AI Governance Manager, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to maintain governance processes, support Microsoft Purview, produce governance reporting, and ensure governance activities are embedded consistently across the organisation. You will help establish trusted, well-governed, and AI-ready data foundations that support reporting, analytics, automation, and AI adoption. You will support the operation and continuous improvement of Data and AI Governance capability. The role will maintain governance processes, artefacts, records, and reporting, while helping to coordinate governance forums, audits, and assurance activities. It will support the administration of Microsoft Purview, including metadata, business glossary and data catalogue management, and help embed data ownership and stewardship practices across the organisation.
