Agricultural Liaison Officer
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Agricultural Liaison Officer to join a growing infrastructure team, working on major projects across East Anglia.Based from Bury St Edmunds, you''ll play a key role in managing land access and maintaining strong relationships with landowners, occupiers, contractors and project teams throughout the delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects.The roleAct as the key point of contact for landowners and occupiers throughout projects.Manage land access arrangements, notices and agreements with contractors and landowners.Advise on accommodation works, including access, fencing, drainage and water supplies.Ensure contractors comply with agreed land requirements and relevant regulations.Build strong relationships with agricultural and rural stakeholders.Work closely with the wider project team to resolve land and agricultural matters.Respond to landowner queries and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.About youWe''re looking for someone with experience in agriculture, rural land or land liaison, ideally with previous exposure to infrastructure projects.You''ll have a good understanding of agricultural and rural affairs, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the confidence to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
