Working predominantly on agricultural, forestry and equine fencing projects. Setting out and preparing fence lines. Digging and preparing ground for fencing. Handling and installing posts, strainers, rails and wire. Moving fencing materials and equipment. Operating modern fencing machinery, including tracked post knockers and diggers. Working safely around machinery and other members of the team. Maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Keeping work areas, machinery and vehicles clean and tidy. This is a physically demanding role, involving regular lifting, carrying, digging and handling of fencing materials.
