Agricultural Engineer

Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced mechanic to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.As an Agricultural Engineer you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.Your key responsibilities will include:Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.Use diagnostic toolsCollect and return machinery from clientsMaintain customer relationships.You will need:Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g., tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws)Strong mechanical backgroundStrong communication and IT skillsOwn hand toolsDriving licence You will need a driving licence/access to a vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery from clientsHours of WorkMonday-Friday 8am-5pm Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needsPlease call Phil in the office for more information or send your CV to apply. ..... full job details .....
