Agricultural Engineer

We are a family run vegetable grower/packer. The role will include maintenance and servicing within the washing and packing facilities. We also have various agricultural harvesters and cultivation equipment.We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team. As an engineer, you will be responsible for day to day maintenance of equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires good working knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in planned maintenance and servicing, be proactive and confident working alone as well as within a team.Duties:- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various equipment- Repair or replace faulty components and parts- Conduct tests to ensure proper functionality- Weld, assemble, and fabricate parts as needed- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairsQualifications:- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams- Experience in welding, assembling, and fabricating parts- Excellent problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Effective communication skillsIf you are a skilled engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your abilities, we encourage you to apply.
