      <description>Location: Hertfordshire | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Site Agent – Civils &amp; Earthworks   Location: North London   We are seeking an experienced  Site Agent  to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major  earthworks project , with a strong focus on  cut and fill operations .  This is a key role responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities 	 Oversee daily site operations on civils and bulk earthworks packages 	 Manage  cut and fill activities , excavation, and grading works 	 Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and labour on site 	 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards 	 Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management 	 Maintain quality control and ensure works meet project specifications 	 Liaise with engineers, planners, and stakeholders  Requirements 	 Proven experience as a  Site Agent / Sub Agent  in civil engineering 	 Strong background in  earthworks and cut &amp; fill projects  	 Experience on infrastructure, highways, or large-scale civils schemes 	 SMSTS certification and valid CSCS card 	 Excellent leadership and communication skills 	 Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-p...</description>
