Gumtree.com .We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a confident, connected, and consultative seller to join our team as an Agency Sales Manager. This is a full-on 360° sales role where you’ll be building and growing relationships, especially with Publicis Groupe, and driving ad revenue for Gumtree. You’ll mix inside sales with face-to-face meetings, spot new business opportunities, and ensure our existing clients see Gumtree as the place to reach their perfect audience. If you’re great at networking, love pitching high-quality proposals, and know how to close deals with flair, we’d love to chat. Location: London. You’ll work between Gumtree (London Waterloo) and client offices.

Responsibilities

Proactively develop new agency accounts and grow the business using a mix of calls, emails, face-to-face chats and networking.

Spend most of the week meeting clients, building relationships, and pitching opportunities.

Tell compelling stories using data, insights, and fresh ad solutions to bring ideas to life.

Operate with a consultative style to build trust and long-term partnerships across accounts.

Engage in emails, in-person meetings, hot-desking at agencies, lunches, client events, and other connection activities to win opportunities.

Hit targets and drive revenue growth.

What we’re looking for

Experience in media or advertising sales with a consultative, target-driven, results-focused approach.

Connections with or experience at Publicis Groupe is a big plus.

Strong “woo-factor” and relationship-building ability; capable of closing deals with flair.

Commercially sharp, process-oriented, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Confident communicator and presenter who is comfortable meeting clients in London.

Energetic, positive, and passionate about media and client success.
