Morning and After School Supervisor Newcastle area.£14.95 per hour. Monday to Friday7.15 am - 8.45 am and then 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm (4.5 hours per day)Permanent opportunity. About the Role My client is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Breakfast Club and After-School Club Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children before and after the school day.Key Responsibilities Supervise and support children during breakfast club and after-school sessions.Organise and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.Prepare and serve healthy snacks and refreshments.Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children.Promote positive behaviour and encourage social interaction.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment.Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues. Person Specification Essential: Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or youth setting.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Caring, patient, and approachable nature.Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities. Desirable: Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3).First Aid qualification.Experience planning activities for children.
